On the deal for the new manager for the brewers: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?columnist=crasnick_jerry&id=5871665 The Brewers pruned an initial list of about 20 candidates down to eight, and Roenicke outlasted Bobby Valentine, Bob Melvin, Eric Wedge and Joey Cora, among others, to land a two-year deal with a club option for 2013.

How about Vlad? What if he finishes with 500 hrs, 500 doubles, 1500 rbis, 2500 hits, something around .315-.320, an MVP, 9 All-Star games, 8 Silver Sluggers, and ZERO GOLD GLOVES?
